- actor, stand-up comedian, photographer, all-around athlete, singer, ballet dancer ..... okay, scratch the two last ones ...
Where have you seen him? Well, there's the rub - you may have seen him lots of times without knowing it. Dan Payne often acts with his face covered by prosthetics or a face mask - such as a wraith on Stargate Atlantis or the Kull Warrior on Stargate SG-1 - or even as a polar bear puppeteer.
Or you may have been lucky and seen him doing his stand-up thing at a science fiction convention.
Or he may have taken your picture at Club Med Australia some years ago ....
Recently, you may have seen him show off his comedy chops, playing the feckless father of Alice in the TV series "Alice, I Think", based on Susan Juby's popular novels.
